Our cloud-based PrivacyPilot is your central platform for an integrative data protection management. The online tool assists you in complying with documentation requirements and evidence requirements prescribed by data protection law. For example, you can document records of processing activities, risk assessments, data protection impact assessments, or Privacy by Design/Privacy by Default measures. Because you retain your documentation at a central location at all times, the filing and management of individual documents, which can be laborious and oftentimes convoluted, is not necessary anymore.
To use the tool, you only need a current web browser – it is not necessary to install any software. The operation is structured in a way that is similar to customary office applications, so that the users can get started right away without any extensive training. By importing already existing documentation, you can fill the PrivacyPilot with just a few clicks with your inventory, while the export function enables users, who do not have to register for a user account, to inspect and edit content. A sophisticated role and rights management enables you to restrict access to content within the PrivacyPilot to the extent to which this is necessary for the respective users. The commentary function and the history function allow for a facilitated collaboration between individual users and enable a seamless documentation. Moreover, by means of filters, you can assemble contents with fine granularity, or have reports issued.
The PrivacyPilot was developed for data protection management by Scheja & Partners in cooperation with a well-established Munich- based software firm. The solution runs on an infrastructure in fully redundant high security data centres in Frankfurt am Main and is continuously developed – made and hosted in Germany!
